Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik in Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the first woman ever to win twice in CrossFit Games. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media-star. She is popular for being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017 she took home her first Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Reykjavik, Iceland together with her parents and siblings. In her early years, she was always a fan of sports and exercise. She took part in a variety of school activities and won a number of medals. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she performed relatively very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 by 2021. She is 5'7" tall and weighs about 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in the year 2009. Annie was able to do very well in the initial competitions. Annie was ranked among top 10 of over 70. She was not able to claim any titles but ended up in 11th place in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. Because of her impressive performance, she managed to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie, who had outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to have won each of the CrossFit Games. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie's rising fame as an athlete has made her the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are posted.
