Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. While working as assistant to photographers She turned her focus towards modeling and acting. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world notoriety, along with an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. After just three short films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw has married thrice.
