Sharni Vison, an Australian-American actor and dancer was born on 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Sharni Vinson first made an appearance as an actress in 2001, when she portrayed the role of a woman on Home and Away, a soap-opera in Australia. The performance she gave in that small character was so impressive that the agent who cast the show wanted her to play the main role in the series. The actress did however try out for the role, but she wasn't selected. Instead, on the same show, she was cast in the role of Cassie Turner, who is the troubled teenage girl who was being looked after by foster parents.
